The theme focused on Academic Success. Many of us are first generation immigrants and there are challenges while navigating the academic system here. This meet focussed on various aspects of Elementary education.

Voices of Experience We hosted a group discussion with experienced Sakhi’s from academic function areas.

Yamini Murali ( Frisco ISD Elementary Teacher), Yashodhara Gangal (Special needs Teacher) and Niti Desai (Administrative staff Frisco ISD), Sejal Raje (PTA Board Member Frisco ISD) & Amruta Potdar (Speech Therapist) joined to share their insights and experiences.

The panelists' expertise complemented each other, leading to an engaging discussion.

We learnt about so many resources to tap into. We believe this discussion was an initiation of a much needed dialogue for our community so that we make informed choices, so that we feel empowered to ask questions with confidence. There is a lot more to learn and we look forward to more deep dives into this topic.
